Hourly In-Store & Distribution Center Roles

Hourly In-Store & Distribution Center Roles include the following: Cashier, Customer Service/Sales Associate, Support Associate, Freight Associate, General Warehouse Associate, and more. To check the application status of an In-Store or Distribution Center role, please click the link below.

Salaried, Corporate, & Support Roles

Corporate & Support Roles including but not limited to the following positions: Asset Protection, Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager, Customer Service Representative, DC Area Supervisor or Manager position, Delivery Driver, Outside Sales & Service or PRO team position, or Store Support Center roles such as Administrative Assistant, Store & Supply Chain Operations, Marketing and Communications roles, Technology roles, and more. To check the application status of your application to one of these roles, please follow the steps below.

The Career Mobility Program offers associates currently working as hourly Store, MET, Supply Chain, Contact Center, Driver/Driver Helper & Technician Field Talent the opportunity to diversify skillsets, gain corporate exposure and expand their network through a paid experience while providing field expertise on projects that impact the business. Review the program requirements to determine if this is the best fit for you.

Program requirements

  • Employed for 18+ months by the Home Depot at a field location by March 4, 2024
  • Open to all hourly field talent, including but not limited to Stores, Call/Contact Centers, Supply Chain DCs, & Drivers/Driver Helpers
  • Associates are not required to be enrolled in school or have a college degree
  • Microsoft Excel & Microsoft PowerPoint proficiency preferred

ASSESSMENT

Apply through the link below and complete the questionnaire, after which select associates will receive an online assessment to complete. The assessment has no time limit, usually takes about 14 minutes to complete, and measures the following traits determined to be key indicators of success in the program:

  • Teamwork: Prioritize collaboration and communicate openly with team members
  • Willing to Learn: Potential to learn new information and solve problems
  • Responsibility: Proactive involvement in work and dedication to complete tasks

After completing the assessment, eligible candidates will be scheduled for an interview. The Spring 2024 CMP application opens November 22, 2023.

The Field-to-SSC Career Mobility Program (CMP) is a 9 -week virtual paid program for our hourly field associates. CMP participants will be assigned to a Store Support Center team such as, but not limited to, Supply Chain, Store Operations, THD Rental, Merchandising, Outside Sales & Services or Human Resources. During the program, participants will learn more about our business and our Store Support Center while working on a pre-assigned project that impacts the business area they are supporting. Candidates are not required to have or be working towards a college degree to apply for this program. Candidates are required to be hourly associates legally permitted to work in the United States, in good standing with the company, and employed by The Home Depot for a minimum of 18 months by the start of the program.   • Interview Tips

When you demonstrate to the interviewer that you have used your knowledge or skills well, you demonstrate that you are able to use that knowledge or skill again.
