Can I trust a Charity Navigator? ›

Charity Navigator participates in a consortium with other feedback experts and leading nonprofit infrastructure platforms to drive Constituent Feedback's advancement, promotion, and data collection. ALSAC and St. Jude have four-star ratings for accountability and finance from Charity Navigator, America's largest independent evaluator. The rating is based on an assessment of financial efficiency, sustainability and trustworthiness.

Charity Navigator gives WWP a 4-star rating and says, “You can give with confidence.” We are a Better Business Bureau (BBB) accredited charity that has met all the organization's standards for accountability. WWP holds a 2024 Platinum Seal of Transparency from Candid (formerly GuideStar).

Potential donors should ask the fundraiser for the charity's exact name, website and mailing address so they can independently confirm the information. Use TEOS to verify if an organization is a legitimate tax-exempt charity. Don't give in to pressure. Scammers often pressure people into making an immediate payment.
