Florida Carpenters Regional Council | Become a Pro Carpenter (2024)

To apply for admission into our registered apprenticeship program online, you will first need to select the geographical area closet to you and start the application process. In order to complete an application, you’ll need to furnish:

  • proof you’re a minimum of 18 years of age
  • a valid driver’s license with a photo
  • a transcript of your education completed
  • a valid Social Security Number or U.S. Work Authorization Document
  • a DD214 if you’re a military veteran

Applicants must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the Craft, without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of the individual or others.

After your application is completed, bring it to the training center closest to you. You will be notified by the respective Training Center you have applied to and scheduled for an interview.

The Florida Carpenters Training Program is a four-year commitment with year-round training scheduled once a quarter for 40 hours each session. Attending related training classes each quarter in the Training Center is a mandatory requirement.
