(2)-After downloading the application, open it and choose your preferred language from the two available options, “ENGLISH” or “ARABIC.”
(3)-Now, if you have an RTA account, then log in to your account, but if you don’t have an RTA account, you can log in as “GUEST.”
(4)-Once you clicked on “GUEST,” you will see a bunch of services offered to guest users, including:
- NOL
- Bus, Metro, and Tram

(5)-Now, select “NOL” and then further select “VIEW NOL CARD BALANCE.”

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) recently reminded public transport users that some of the opening batch gold, silver, and blue Nol cards issued on September 1, 2016, would expire on September 1, 2021.
There are three types of NOL cards – silver, gold, and blue. The blue card is personal and has an expiration date next to the picture on the card. Anonymous cards – as we call them – are silver and gold cards with an expiration date. RENEWAL TIME:
For example, when someone inserts their silver or gold card into a parking machine and the card expires within 30 days, it will display a message to apply for a new card. People can use their cards until all the credit in the card is gone. However, they will not top up the card with the new credit after it expires.
CAN PEOPLE RETURN A CARD IF THEY HAVE MORE THAN ONE CARD?
The RTA said it was recycling its expired cards. People sometimes have four to five cards. Should they feel like wasting some of it? They have to come to any ticket counter at the metro station and fill out a refund form. All money in the card will get returned to the card user. If the card is in good working condition, the card will be placed with the RTA and cycled again.
