How to Claim Provident Fund Online?
The provident fund is a mandatory retirement savings plan in South Africa. If you earn more than R12,000 per annum, you automatically get a provident fund deduction from your salary. If you want to claim your provident fund online, you must first visit the PF online portal. If you are not registered with the PF online portal, you can go to https://pfonline.sa.gov.za/ and sign up. Once you are registered, you will see a list of your employers. All you have to do next is find your employer and click on the “View’ button. On the next screen, you will be directed to the “View Details” screen. Here, you will be asked to enter your first name, middle name and last name. You will then be redirected back to the “Employer Details” screen.
Visit the PF online portal
The PF online portal has three main functions. First, it is a quick and easy way to register with the PF online. Second, it is a fast and seamless way to make contributions to your PF account. Third, it is a convenient way to check your contribution deductions and details. To log on to the PF online portal, all you have to do is visit http://pfonline.sa.gov.za/. The PF online portal can be accessed from any computer or mobile device with an Internet connection. When you are logged on, you will see a list of your employers. All you have to do next is find your employer and click on the “View’ button. On the next screen, you will be directed to the “View Details” screen. Complete an online application form

You will see a form where you have to enter your personal details, full address, date of birth, information about current and previous employers, and information about your dependents. You will also see a section where you have to upload your payslip and sign an agreement. Once you have completed all the fields, you will be directed back to the “View Details” screen. You can now see the amount you have to contribute to your provident fund.
Upload your employee payslip
If you are not able to read the online application form, you can also upload your payslip. To do this, you need to open your payslip, find the relevant payslip number, and then click on the “Upload” button. The PF online portal will prompt you to indicate where you want the information to be stored. You can then click on “Accept” to upload your payslip. The payslip that you upload will be used by the PF online portal to calculate your contribution amount. If you do not want to upload your payslip, you can also provide the PF online portal with your current payslip.
Print out your confirmation email and show it to your employer
When you are done with the online application form, you should immediately print out your confirmation email and show it to your employer. The reason for this is that the PF online portal will only accept your application after 24 hours. Furthermore, you cannot withdraw funds from the PF online portal until your application is approved. If you do not show your employer the confirmation email, he or she will assume that you withdrew the funds without their knowledge and you will have to pay an 18% penalty tax on the withdrawn amount. To print your confirmation email, log on to your PF online account and click on the “Your Account Activity” link. On the left-hand side of the screen, you will see a link titled “My Contributions”. Click on that link and you will be directed to a new page where you can see all the contributions you made and withdrawals you made. Click on the “View Log” button and you will be directed to a page where you can see details about your contributions and withdrawals. Click on the “Print PDF” button and then click on the “Print” button on the next page. This will direct you to a new page where you can forward the email and print it out.
