THEY WERE WORKING FOR HOURS ON DOWNED POWER LINES. KOCO CAMERON SIBERT LIVE FOR US AND CAMERON TALK ABOUT THAT SCENE. EARLIER WE SAW THOSE OGNI CREWS. THEY STILL THEY’RE THERE THIS MORNING. YEAH, THEY’RE STILL HERE BEHIND US. GOOD NEWS. LIKE YOU GUYS SAID, THE POWER HAS BEEN TURNED BACK ON JUST IN TIME FOR PEOPLE TO SET OUT ON THEIR THURSDAY MORNING. BUT YOU CAN SEE THE CREWS ARE STILL HERE WORKING. THEY ACTUALLY REPLACED THIS POWER POLE THAT WAS STRUCK BY THAT CAR. AND THEN THE SINGLE VEHICLE CRASH AROUND 2:00 THIS MORNING, AN SUV THAT WAS PRETTY HEAVILY DAMAGED. BUT YOU CAN SEE THAT THESE TEAMS WITH OGNI HAVE WORKED PRETTY FAST TO GET THINGS RESTORED. LIKE YOU GUYS MENTIONED, THE POWER CAME BACK ON WITHIN THE LAST HOUR OR SO. SKY FIVE’S OVER THE SCENE HERE SHOWING YOU 10TH AND MERIDIAN THIS AREA AS CARS START TO MAKE THEIR MORNING COMMUTE. SOME OF THE TRAFFIC LIGHTS ARE STILL USING THE THE BLINKING RED LIGHT. SO THAT’S SOMETHING TO CONSIDER IF YOU’RE COMING THROUGH THIS AREA. MIGHT BE A LITTLE BIT SLOWER THAN USUAL, BUT THE LIGHTS ARE BACK ON. WE DID TALK TO ONE RESIDENT A LITTLE BIT CONFUSED WHEN HE WOKE UP THIS MORNING TO NO POWER. HE NO POWER. HE GO TO THE RESTROOM. THEY SAY NO POWER. YEAH, YOU DON’T PAY THE BILL? NO, YOU PAY THE BILL. PERO EVERYTHING OKAY NOW? I HAVE THE POWER NOW. HE EVEN WONDERED IF HE FORGOT TO PAY THE BILL. "When I came out in the morning, I see no power. My wife said, 'Did you pay the bill?' I said, 'Yeah, I paid the bill.' But when I came outside, no power," Efrin Rodriguez said. "Everything is OK. I have power now."
