Rosamund Pike, a Butter-Yellow Dream in a Custom Dior Gown
Rosamund Pike is a vision in butter-yellow, a color that's here to stay, at least according to the actress herself. Attending the world premiere of her latest heist thriller, 'Now You See Me: Now You Don’t', Pike brought the summer's favorite hue into the colder season with a striking winter gown designed by Jonathan Anderson for Dior.
The floor-sweeping silk dress featured a flapper-style silhouette, with elongated pleats and a dramatic drop-waist skirt. The low waistband was adorned with floral white appliqués, creating a snow-covered tree effect that was particularly fitting given the recent snowfall in New York. Pike's elegant shawl, draped over the neckline, added a playful touch to the classic style, making it just as perfect for dancing as its 1920s counterparts. The actress couldn’t resist twirling on the carpet, showcasing the dress's versatility.
For a bit of contrast, Pike went darker with her glam, painting her nails a deep brown and touching her lips with maroon. Her hair was parted at the side and styled in short waves, complementing the overall look.
'Now You See Me: Now You Don’t' is the third installment in the franchise, following 2016's 'Now You See Me 2'. Pike joins returning actors Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Isla Fisher, and Morgan Freeman, as well as newcomers Ariana Greenblatt and Dominic Sessa.
