​​AKU-EB BRIDGE SCHOLARSHIP

​​The AKU-EB recognizes the vital importance of the bridge between secondary and higher education. Thanks to the generous assistance of the Fancy Foundation, AKU-EBoffers a competitive scholarship that contributes towards expenses incurred by students during their two years as HSSC candidates. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of merit and financial needand funds two years of education for students that aim to complete their HSSC from an AKU-EB affiliated school or college. It is offered to current SSC Part II students or SSC graduates of AKU-EB affiliated schools & colle​ges based in Karachi.​

The scholarship covers up to 3500 rupees of school/college tuition fees per month, an annual book allowanceof 2500 rupees per year and full coverage of all AKU-EB examination fees for the two years of ​HSSC. It does not, however, cover uniform, travel and other subsistence costs.

Aside from being AKU-EB SSC students, potential applicants for the scholarship must have obtained a minimum of 70% marks overall, have no failing grades in either year of their SSC examinations and must demonstrate personal qualities such as a commitment to social service, adaptability and leadership skills.​​
