The Target Scholars Program will provide 1,000 first-year students at more than a dozen HBCUs $5,000 scholarships, plus mentoring, internship opportunities, networking and more throughout their college career.

In 2023, Disney incorporated new and existing scholarships into the Disney UNCF Corporate Scholars program to provide a more tailored experience to students with specific interests within the industry, including journalism, film and television, and factual entertainment.

The process to renew the Walmart Associate Scholarship is flexible, allowing scholars the opportunity to request funds anytime within the Walmart Fiscal Year (Feb. 1-Jan. 31) when it works with their institution's schedule, up to the yearly funding cap for their chosen degree or certificate program.

About: Created in 2021 by Target in partnership with UNCF, the Target Scholars Program provides 1,000 need-based scholarships of up to $5,000 to first-year Black students enrolled at select HBCUs with a demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in technology, leadership or design.

The Target All-Around Scholarship

Every year the Target Corporation awards 2100 All-Around Scholarships to deserving college-bound students across the country. These scholarships are designed to benefit students who have demonstrated a high level of academic achievement, and a devotion to community service.

At least 18 years of age at time of application. Currently enrolled and taking classes at an accredited U.S.* college, university, or higher education program OR have graduated from an accredited U.S.* college, university, or higher education program within 24 months of the application posting date.

Domestic (College, Culinary) Program participants will pay the $442 fee in two phases: Upon acceptance: $240 for program fees, activities, events and administration. Six weeks prior to arrival: $202 (if living in onsite housing at Flamingo Crossings Village)

The Costco Employee Scholarship is open to all regular part-time and full-time employees in the United States. This scholarship is available in amounts up to $2,500 per academic year for up to four years.

Making education more accessible

From day one on the job, U.S.-based full-time and part-time Target team members are eligible to pursue tuition-free undergraduate and associate degrees, certificates and bootcamp programs from over 40 colleges, universities and learning providers through our partner, Guild.

If you work at Target, either full-time or part-time, you will be eligible for Target's paid tuition reimbursem*nt program. This program encompasses over 250 undergraduate degree programs, from over 40 schools. You have your education paid for, simply by being a Target Team Member.

How much of college will target pay for? ›

There is 100% tuition coverage offered for select programs. The Debt-Free Program is only available to first-time degree seeking students. For those team members that wish to continue their education, Target will pay up to $5,250 for non-master's degrees and up to $10,000 for master's degrees each year.

Scholarship Description

5 Strong collaborates with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) to empower promising student leaders through full-tuition scholarships and ongoing mentorship and support from enrollment to graduation.

Disney Aspire offers comprehensive tuition coverage to eligible hourly employees to help them remove this barrier. This benefit allows them to pursue higher education without the burden of excessive student debt. The program covers tuition, required fees, and even required books for approved courses or programs.

While enrolled in the Disney College program, students will work in front-line roles at the resort. This work covers the cost of tuition and residence, and comes with a modest paycheck.

There are a couple of one-time fees that participants must pay before starting the program, and a recurring, weekly fee to cover the cost of housing after the program begins (similar to paying rent, basically).
