How to start mysterious 8th totk? ›

Upon finishing The Heroines' Secret, you and Rotana discover that there were eight heroes in Gerudo's past, not just seven. Speak to her again to start this mission, where you'll gather those mysterious heavy orbs you may have seen all over town and put them in the arms of the statues in the room Rotana is in.

The quest is started by speaking to Rotana in the Gerudo Shelter. She's looking for several stelae, sort of ancient slab looking things, that reveal secrets about the heroes of Gerudo's past. She has four of them and needs the remaining four, which you'll need to take pictures of.

Head to North Gerudo Ruins

Rotana mentioned that you need to head to the North Gerudo Ruins with the giant orb. Use the Ultrahand ability to grab the ball and take it there.

To begin this shrine quest, speak to Rotana in Gerudo Town in a small house next to The Noble Canteen. You do not have to trigger the quest to actually complete it. Go to the East Gerudo Ruins southwest of the Wasteland Tower.

In addition, players should have The Mysterious Eighth started, which can be started right after The Heroine's Secret with Rotana in the Gerudo Shelter. With those prerequisites met, the northern corner of the town square during the day, beyond the fruit stand, will be a girl named Dalia standing near clay pots.

In order to win the orb from Dalia, you have to entertain her in a game. She'll hide one of the stuffed sand-seal dolls somewhere in the Gerudo Shelter. You have 90 seconds to find it. The plush doll is over by where the spa beds were, in the same area with the map of the town drawn on the wall in chalk.

The Scimitar of the Seven is absolutely worth the time adn material investment, as the Strong Fusion Special Trait of the Scimitar (which most Gerudo weapons also have) makes it by far one of the strongest Fused Weapons in the game (depending on what's fused to it).

Dalia is a Gerudo child who lives in Gerudo Town. At night, she sleeps at Lorn's Fruit Stand, which is a Stall owned by her mother, Lorn. According to Lorn, Dalia loves Fruitcake, so she makes it every once in a while.

Head out to the bazaar after "Riju of Gerudo Town" has been completed. Link will find two standing in front of the store, looking out the desert. The orb is visible on the ground between them.

Speak with Pokki near the east Sand Seal Rental place and she'll start the quest, hoping you can take her somewhere where statues all face one another. You'll need to rent a sand seal with a cart in order to do so. Where she wants to go is over on the far eastern side of the Gerudo Desert, in the East Gerudo Ruins.
