1. Tsomoriri Lake
Tsomoriri Lake is known for its scenic splendor. The high altitude lake is set between Ladakh in the north, Tibet in the east and Zanskar in the west. It is the highest brackish water lake in India, situated at an elevation of 15,075 ft.

Lingshed Monastery is a Gelugpa Buddhist Monastery in the Zanskar region. It houses about 60 monks. It consists of six principal shrines, kitchens, storerooms and on its uppermost floor, an apartment for Ngari Rinpoche or other visiting high lamas.
